  In today’s ever-evolving educational landscape, the need to understand how teaching happens is just as important as what is taught. Our newly designed course, “Pedagogy Studies, dives deep into the heart of teaching and learning—exploring not just theories but real-world practices, challenges, and possibilities. This course is more than a curriculum—it's a journey through diverse classrooms, from bustling urban schools to resource-strapped rural setups across developing countries. It investigates what works, what doesn’t, and why—guided by evidence, informed by global research, and rooted in equity and relevance. Through four comprehensive units, we uncover the conceptual foundations of pedagogy, examine classroom practices, analyze effectiveness and outcomes, and explore how teacher education and school systems can truly support transformative teaching.
